A Foundation Rooted in Innovation and Humanity
Founded in Belgrade in 2025, Foundation Dositej-Pupin-Tesla (FDPT) embodies the legacy of pioneering visionaries of Serbian origin: Dositej Obradović, Mihajlo Pupin, and Nikola Tesla. We engage in the committed nurturing of cultural, science, education, digital, diaspora, citizen, and sustainability diplomacy, connecting these fields holistically to accelerate a peaceful, just, green, technologically people-centric, and violence-emancipated transformation toward sustainable development globally, leaving no one behind and ensuring future generations everywhere flourish to their full potential.


Our Core Visionary Team
Our dedicated core experts and wide network of collaborators unite diverse perspectives and creative heuristics to inspire impactful programs that promote the concept and practices of transformative plenilateral diplomacy. Team leader is Professor Dr. Jelica Stefanović-Štambuk, founder and director, a Full Professor of Diplomatic and International Studies, with over 40 years of experience in higher education and research in diplomacy, history of diplomacy, diplomatic history, and international relations. She established in 1991 the first TEMPUS master's program in European Studies in Politics and in the English language at the University of Belgrade—Faculty of Political Science. She was the director of the International Politics Publishing House and editor-in-chief of the Review of International Affairs from 1999 to 2002. From 2009 to 2012, she served as the founding head of the Doctoral Programme in International and European Studies at the University of Belgrade—Faculty of Political Sciences. In 2014, she introduced a digital model for teaching diplomacy and fully developed digital pedagogy. She authored numerous publications; lectured across the world; led projects; delivered keynotes and presentations; chaired panels and roundtables; and served as a discussant at the most prestigious conferences, meetings, annual conventions, forums and congresses of the International Studies Association, International Political Association, and International Sociological Association. She is a member of the Executive Board of the Research Committee 40 on World Orders of the International Political Science Association. In 2018, she was engaged in preparing the Republic of Serbia's first Voluntary National Review for 2019 and served as a lead scientist in its preparation for presentation at ECOSO in July 2019. Apart from being a COST expert, she was elected to a second term, 2025-2027, on the Executive Board of the International Sociological Association Working Group 10, Digital Sociology. She coordinated the Group's Program for the 2025 Forum of Sociology held in Rabat, Morocco, and now serves as the Group Program Coordinator for the XXI World Congress of Sociology to be held in 2027 in Gwangju, Korea.
Nikola Perišić, MA, a Research Assistant at the Institute of Political Studies and doctoral student at the Programme for Cultural and Media Studies and Communication at the University of Belgrade—Faculty of Political Sciences, is an agile project initiator. The Foundation relies on him in developing projects and policy proposals. briefs, policy-oriented advisory and advocacy activities.
Elena Stefanović, a medical doctor and Magistra in cardiological surgery and pathology, leads the medical aspects of the foundation's activities.
Goran Kostić, MA in Biology and Economics, is responsible for the bioethical and biological aspects of the foundation's research and programs.
Nina Pavlović, BA in International Affairs and a master's student at the University of Belgrade—Faculty of Political Sciences, works on the Foundation's communications and promotional events.
